By Omolagba Oluwayemi
Monday evening football in the English Premier League between Burnley and Crystal Palace at Turf Moor ended 1-0 in favour of Burnley.
Chris Wood's eight minutes strike was enough to hand Sean Dyche side their first win of the season.
Nigeria Eberechi Eze was on for the entire duration. With the win, Burnley moved out of the relegation zone to 17th while Crystal Palace are 10th on the log.
Still to come in the EPL tonight is Wolverhampton Wanderers against Southampton, 9pm local time at Molineux Stadium. Andre Marriner is the referee in charge.
Despite great performance from Eberechi Eze, Burnley goalkeeper was considered Man of The Match following his impressive performance that save the much-needed three points for his side. Burnley earned their first win in eight games while Crystal Palace lost four, won three and drew one match in their last eight games.
